Job Description

A respected national law firm is seeking a motivated and well-rounded Associate Attorney to join its Las Vegas office. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with 3-8 years of insurance defense and civil litigation experience who are looking to manage a diverse caseload and work alongside experienced litigators representing regional and national clients.

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Nevada. Prior trial experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Working under the supervision of shareholders and senior attorneys, the Associate Attorney will:

  • Manage a substantial caseload involving civil defense and insurance litigation matters.
  • Draft and argue pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare and respond to written discovery requests and dispositive motions.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis.
  • Prepare for and take depositions of parties, witnesses, and expert witnesses.
  • Review client records and documentation, prepare case evaluations, and provide timely reporting to clients.
  • Participate in mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance professionals, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
